The EG4 GridBOSS MID sets a new standard in microgrid interconnection. Designed to streamline complex solar and backup installations, it combines multiple components into a single, intelligent unit—reducing equipment costs and installation time. With four smart ports, a 200A service entrance rating, and seamless integration with up to three hybrid inverters and a generator, the GridBOSS offers unmatched control, flexibility, and reliability for whole or partial home backup systems.

Note: Breakers for smart ports, hybrid inverters, and generator input are sold separately.

Important EG4 GridBoss Breaker Information

Each EG4 GridBoss (V2.1) unit includes:

• 90A Breaker:
  Compatible only with the EG4 FlexBOSS21

• Smart Port Breakers:
  Rated at 30A, 40A, 60A, and 80A.

Please Note:

• You must purchase a 70A Breaker separately for use with the EG4 18kPV Hybrid Inverter.
• You must purchase a 50A Breaker separately for use with the EG4 12kPV Hybrid Inverter.
• A 125A Breaker (sold separately) can be used with either the Smart Port or Gen Port.
