Warranty Information (USA)

Standard Warranty Period – The product is covered under a limited warranty for 5 years from the date of purchase by the original end-user, with a maximum of 66 months from the Victron invoice date. More info: Victron Warranty

Battery Warranty Exceptions – Lead-acid batteries have a 2-year warranty, and lithium batteries have a 3-year warranty.

Warranty Extension Option – For products with a 5-year warranty, an additional 5 years (for a total of 10 years) may be purchased for a fee (approx 10% of the net price).

Coverage Terms – During the warranty period, Victron may repair, replace, or credit the defective product free of charge. The warranty does not cover de-installation, transportation, or re-installation.

Void Conditions – The warranty is void if the unit has physical damage, alteration, improper use (e.g., reversed battery polarity, inadequate connection, contact with moisture or condensation, use in an inappropriate environment).

Claim Process – Warranty claims must go through the original place of purchase or authorized dealer/distributor. The product must be returned with the purchase receipt and serial number.
